Comment: | Neosartorya fischeri, the closest relative of the major pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus, can cause keratitis, and pulmonary aspergillosis in transplant patients. Neosartorya fischeri is a sexual Aspergillus species. This filamentous fungus is found in soil, and its spores are found in agricultural products. |
